The Avenue refers to the short section of Oak Bay Avenue from the western border with the City of Victoria at Foul Bay Road, east to Monterey Avenue, where even the most discriminating shopper is sure to find something of great appeal in one of the local shops. Stroll down the Avenue, stopping off for a snack at one of the excellent delicatessens or coffee shops, and check out the art galleries, gift and jewelry stores, bookstores and locally-owned clothing boutiques near Hampshire Road. Estevan Avenue runs east (ish – Oak Bay’s streets don’t follow a strict grid pattern) from Cadboro Bay Road toward Beach Drive at Willows Beach. Around Musgrave Street, there’s a collection of lovely clothing and home boutiques, an excellent children’s toy shop, and cozy cafes and restaurants known informally as Estevan Village. More info »
